Gyotaku Fish Print

The art of Gyotaku originated in Japan in the mid 1800's originally as a way for fishermen to preserve records of their catches.  Local artist H. Wilson has been exploring the Gyotaku method with different fish caught in the waters of Aquidneck Island.  This beautiful white framed Choggie is preserved on green lokta paper. outer frame size: 9 1/4" x 11 1/4"
